Provided the FCDO has accepted the request for urgent legalisation—which must be submitted a day in advance and before 3 pm—the document can be legalised on the same day it is submitted.

Time-limited documents concerning the transport of animals
Documents providing evidence relating to the welfare of a child
Documents providing evidence relating to the welfare of a vulnerable adult
Commercially urgent documents (e.g., certificates relating to insolvency searches)
Documents linked to corporate transactions with a specified completion date
Other documents accepted at the discretion of the FCDO
